This is a test.
Looking past any deficits in confidence when it comes to writing, I am writing. My motivations are ill-defined, grappling with why I might write only as I write. Some early thoughts are arriving now. This is good, assuming you're here for my thoughts.
Reflection? Sounds simple enough. Maybe thinking more meaningfully. Rambling is cathartic. Resistance! Also cathartic. This being my second use of “catharsis,” I thought it might be appropriate to be sure I use the word appropriately. That plan quickly fell through with my discovery of an alternative definition: “An agent for purging the bowels, especially a laxative.” So, maybe I'm more about fun facts.
Yes, I think we are learning quite quickly the power of the written word. From here onward, any mention of catharsis will be trailed in my mind by “laxatives purging bowels.” And already, the world is a brighter place.
